As an equal opportunity Early Learning Center, Olives Rising Stars Academy considers applications for enrollment, regardless of race, religion, colour, sex, national origin, disability or any other basis prohibited by law. Enrollment packets are provided to interested parents/guardians upon completion of an “Orientation Tour”. All admission requirements must be met at least two business days prior to the child’s first day of attendance.

 

Orientation Tour

We require all parents/guardians to tour Olives Rising Stars Academy at least once prior to enrollment of their child. This visit gives you and your child a chance to meet teachers, future friends, and to see the new surroundings

Admission Requirements are as follows:

  • An Enrolment Form must be completed for each child that will attend Olives Rising Stars Academy.
  • A Physician’s Health Statement and a current Immunization Record is required for all children.
  • A signed copy of the Authorization for Emergency Medical Care form must be on file for each child.
  • A signed copy of the Parent Agreement Contract (the last page of this Handbook) must be on file.
  • A completed copy of Infant Feeding Instructions is required for all children less than one year old.
  • Please be sure to update all emergency information as needed, including address, home and work telephone numbers, and individuals authorized to pick up your child.

  • Parents/ Guardians are required to drop-off their wards between 7:00am and 9:30am for academic work to begin and pick-up their wards between 2:30pm and 4:30pm.
  • Parents are encouraged to drop-off and pick-up their wards by themselves.
  • Where a driver or guardian is delegated to drop-off or pick-up your child, please note that Staff and Management of Olives Rising Stars Academy will not be liable for any form of mishap or negligence of any child/ren who is on his/her way to Olives Rising Stars Academy or returning from Olives Rising Stars Academy.
  • Each child must be signed out by the parent/ guardian who is on our approved pick-up list. Please note that you must sign in and out with your first and last names, no initials.
  • Where a parent/ guardian directs another parent (whose child is a student of Olives Rising Stars Academy) to drop-off or pick-up his/her child, the said parent should submit the other parents (whose child is a student of Olives Rising Stars Academy) valid ID card and colored passport picture to our office.
  • If the child is to be picked up by someone not on the approved list, the parent must provide a signed written note (typed) authorizing the school to release his/her child to the third party in question.
  • The said parent/guardian must phone call Management on 0204267011 and send a WhatsApp message with an image of the valid ID card of the person not on the approved pick-up list.
  • Where a phone call and WhatsApp message cannot be placed and sent, an email should be sent to Management via olivesrisingstars@gmail.com
  • Where the parent/guardian in question, fails to comply with the above, his/her child will not be allowed to be picked-up by any person who is not on the school’s approved pick-up list.

Please note that this option is not easily accessible unless in emergencies. Management will determine whether the situation is an emergency or not.
